Despite my sub-par DIY skills, I really love getting stuck into a craft project. It’s such a nice way to spend a lazy Sunday, and I don’t know about you guys but it gives me a great sense of satisfaction to make something with my hands.
This said, it often takes me a while to find easy DIY projects that are modern. I find that Pinterest is saturated with crafts that are a bit… dowdy. As much as I love the idea of repurposing old tin cans and wine bottles (go environmental heros!), nine times out of ten, these projects don’t result in something that I really want to display around the house. I want my DIYs to rival Zara Home. I want them to be sexy.
So with this goal in mind, I thought I would start doing a regular DIY roundup post. (Maybe one every two months?) I’ll scour the web for the most beautiful DIY projects that could have come straight out of a home boutique, and compile them into a handy list so that we can all make sexy DIYs!
Without further ado, here are my ten favourite modern boho crafts from the last month. I’ve made the specimen gallery and rug wall hanging which turned out great – the tassel throw and chandelier are next on the list!
